Starflex Base Packages are an easy way to get started with Module Rails and Telescopic Tubes. The packages contain a predefined number of Module Rails and Telescopic Tubes and provide a good starting point for making use of both the walls and the height of the cargo area.

With the Telescopic Tubes, tables, camping chairs and other larger or long equipment can be stored high up and within easy reach, while freeing up valuable floor space.

The system can later be expanded with more Module Rails, Telescopic Tubes, Eurobox holders, shelves, bike holders, hooks and other Starflex accessories.

Choose the size of the base package

The base packages are available in four sizes:

Small - 4 Module Rails + 2 Telescopic Tubes
Our smallest base package. With 2 Module Rails on each side of the cargo area, you can fit 2 Telescopic Tubes. This is a compact setup for those with limited space, few available mounting points or who want to start with a very simple Starflex setup.

Medium - 6 Module Rails + 3 Telescopic Tubes
Provides space for 3 Telescopic Tubes and is a good starting point for storing tables and chairs. We recommend a minimum of 3 Telescopic Tubes for this type of storage, and in many cases 3 tubes are sufficient.

Large - 8 Module Rails + 4 Telescopic Tubes
Provides a more comprehensive basic setup and greater flexibility in the cargo area. A good choice for those who want space for tables and chairs, while the additional Module Rails provide good opportunities to expand with Eurobox holders, hooks and other Starflex accessories.

Maxi - 10 Module Rails + 5 Telescopic Tubes
Our largest base package and a good starting point for those who want to make greater use of the Starflex system and cargo area. More Module Rails provide greater freedom to combine Telescopic Tubes with Eurobox holders, hooks, shelves and other accessories in the same setup.

All packages are supplied with 99 cm Module Rails and 72–135 cm Telescopic Tubes.

Both the Module Rails and Telescopic Tubes can easily be cut shorter if they need to be adapted to the available space or mounting location.

Make use of the height in the cargo area

One of the greatest benefits of the Starflex system is the ability to use the space higher up in the cargo area - not just the floor.

For example, tables and camping chairs can be stored close to the ceiling, so they can easily be pulled out when you arrive without having to empty the rest of the cargo area first.

The Telescopic Tubes can also be used for rolled-up rugs, fishing rods, skis and other long or larger equipment.

In many motorhomes, tables and chairs can be placed high on one side of the cargo area while there is still room for bicycles on the other side. With especially large bicycles, it may sometimes be necessary to lower the seat or remove the seat post.

Planning and positioning the Module Rails

To ensure good compatibility with the Starflex range, we recommend that the centre-to-centre distance between the Module Rails does not exceed 32 cm.

We recommend a centre-to-centre distance of approximately 22–32 cm between the Module Rails. Check that the distance suits the accessories and setup you intend to use.

If the cargo area has good mounting options and you want to make the greatest possible use of the Starflex system, we generally recommend around 8 Module Rails on the rear wall and up to 8 Module Rails on the front wall. The number of rails that can and should actually be installed will depend on the width, interior fittings and available mounting points in the cargo area.

The Module Rails on the front and rear walls do not need to be directly opposite each other. The Telescopic Tubes can be angled sideways when viewed from above, but not up or down, providing great flexibility if hatches, shelves, edges or other interior fittings affect where the rails can be positioned.

If you start with a smaller base package but expect to install more Module Rails later, we recommend planning the positioning of the future rails during the initial installation. In many cases, this means you will not have to move the first Module Rails when the system is later expanded.

Flexible system that can be expanded

The base package does not have to be the final storage solution.

Once the Module Rails have been installed, the system can easily be expanded with more rails, Telescopic Tubes and other Starflex accessories as your needs change.

You can expand it with, among other things:

• Eurobox holders

• Shelf for Euroboxes

• Bike holders

• Gas bottle holder

• Hooks and hanging systems

• Shoe shelf and toilet cassette shelf

• Other products developed for the Starflex system

This way, you can start with a base package and later expand the storage system without having to rebuild the entire cargo area.
